"This white wine comes from the same property as our Canon cuvée. It has a rich and complex identity, unlike any classic blend: we drink the soul of this place, and the history of the grandfather who used to work these vines, mixing grape varieties and planting trees within the blocks. Several clones and varieties, that have not all been identified, meet in our press to fine tune their aromatic harmony. Slight oxidative notes of dried fruits, honey and stone fruits intertwine… and yet there is acidity! A wine that has caused more than one person difficulty to find the right food pairing."

Trompette is a wink to our beautiful region. A yellow star shape represents a historic Château in the city centre, and an animal emblematic of the coat of arms of this same city playing the trumpet. We’ll leave it up to you to solve the riddle of this bottle!

About Les Chais du Port de la Lune

Laurent Bordes and Annica Landais-Haapa are the newest urban winemakers, travelling the vineyards of France in the quest for good grapes. Their project is called Les Chais du Port de la Lune, Port of the Moon’s Cellars, first cellar to vinify, press and mature wines in the City of Bordeaux since a long time. Their ambition is to create unique wines, paying homage to their partner vine growers as well as the origins of the grapes. Their installation of their steel tanks and barrels in an old renovated bunker in the area of Bacalan in the North of the City. Three vintages have been maked since the launch of this project. Organic grapes and and natural wine only!
