Alcohol: 12.5% Bottle size: 75cl Average age of vines: Young and Old vines Roughly half Sangiovese with the other half being a mix of Syrah and Merlot. After harvest, the grapes are left to macerate for about 20 days, then the fermentation takes place in oak barrels. Aging for almost two years in large barrels. This year’s effort is a little more savoury and spiced, packing black fruit and plenty of charm onto its slender frame. Just perfect now the days are getting shorter and the leaves are beginning to fall.
