Located in Alt Camp in the village of Santes Creus, brothers Xavi Padró and Andreu Padró embarked on the La Rural project in 2018, where we produce additive-free wines from our different plots. We create single-varietal and single-plot wines from native grape varieties.
We work on the landscape to create a better environment, allowing us to extract products in the most respectful manner possible for our territory. In 2015, we obtained organic certification (CCPAE) for our vineyards.
Our wines are made without additives and are not filtered. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. Our winery is located in the basement of the family home, and we use fiberglass containers, stainless steel, demijohns, and barrels.
We only work with our own grapes. The La Rural project does not involve purchasing grapes.
