Rigomale is named after a ditch 
in our region. We liked this 
name for its meaning: as in 
Italian it could be translated 
as the contrary of ‘to toe the 
line’. This is indeed a white 
wine outside the box. It is the 
balance between the opposites: 
the long path of the Trebbiano 
– left to rest on its skins 
in amphora for a few months – 
meets the acidic and vibrant 
Malvasia.
