The name for this wine ’Seira’ comes fromthe Greek word:ΣΕΙΡΑwhich means ‘a line’ or an ‘orderly array’,the Georgas family gave this name ’Seira’, in 2003, to a single 1.5-hectare vineyard that the family had planted in 2002 with the red varieties Syrah and Merlot. ‘No. 3’ refersto a particular style and blend of red wine produced from this single vineyard.

Georgas Family is a BD wine grower and organic winemaker, located outside of the capital of Greece, Athens, in Spata. Spata located in the wine zone of Mesogaia at the region of Attica, which is the historical center of the Savatiano grape variety as well as the infamous Retsina wine, the resinated wine that dates back to ancient Greece. Speaking of tradition, Georgas 4th generation, traces their wine growing history to more than one century back.
