The Label: Maria Callas is a famous Soprano singer from Greece. Ligas has chooses to assimilate this artist to the Assyrtiko because they both migrated to succeed and to show their talent. Assyrtiko is originally from the south of Greece but has been beautifully developed in the North. Maria Callas left Greece to succeed in Italy as well in USA. Assyrtiko gives elegant notes to the wine as Maria Callas did with her voice. Alcohol: 14.5%

About Domaine Ligas

Family Domaine created by Thomas Ligas, experimental in the vineyard and in winemaking since 1988. The vines are planted in the valleys of Mount Paiko, in old unknown terroir but very old, Pella’s terroir 50 km from Thessaloniki in northern Greece. Organic farming is used since the 90’s and Permaculture farming since 2007.
