something
Domaine Barmès-Buecher produces wines that are a true reflection of their vineyards, thanks to high-quality grapes, grown with care and respect. The wines reflect the delicate relationship that connects the vine, terroir, vintage and man. We therefore prefer to use manual growing practices in order to respect the vine and terroir and to limit the amount of mechanical work carried out in the vineyards by using lightweight machinery to reduce the effects of soil compaction. The use of animals for traction has been reintroduced in our Grand Cru Hengst parcel. Our approach is based on ‘bespoke’ practices which are adapted to the individual needs of each parcel in order to produce authentic wines which are a true reflection of their terroir. Each bottle bears the stamp of its climat (Hengst, Pfersigberg, Steingrubler, Rosenberg, Leimental, Clos Sand, Herrenweg) in keeping with generations of family tradition.
