Bodegas Dagón is the result of a singular combo of viticulture and enology, fruit of the experience and development from Miguel Jesús Márquez Sahuquillo, a passionate and dedicated wine-grower/recollector based in the heart of Valencia's DO UTIEL-REQUENA. The winery is located in a silent and privileged landscape of aprox. 100 acres divided in 18 plots that enjoy an altitude of circa 850m that conform a Microclimate with very defined soils. The fusion of that Continental climate with Mediterranean influences brings the ideal conditions for the obtention of a pure fruit, mature and in optimal conditions for the elaboration of great wines. From the beginning a very mild agriculture process (patented system) is being applied in the vineyard based on Nature respect with no chemical or phytosanitary treatment involved. Those grapes are exclusively feed by the sun, the rain and the strenght of the terroir achieving a perfect integration of all the elements and energies that come along this ecosystem with no harm to the vineyard which results in obtaining HAPPY GRAPES. The elaboration process is fully owned and artisanal being the maturing and prolonged aging in noble woods what gives the perfect final touch for this wine. Not to forget that during this process neither chemical nor enological product has been added , giving up even sulphur dioxide with lack of any kind of rectification, clarification or filtering. The utmost care and affection being placed in the elaboration process make the richness of this wine making it unique and sublime, giving place to a conjuction of flavors and aromas that trascend anything tasted so far.
