In 2020, a nerve-racking but also a special year for us, I wanted to create a new wine to celebrate our newborn baby Beatriz and my wife, Allenah. A rosé seemed like an obvious choice and Touriga Nacional grapes were perfect for that goal. We filled the press with whole bunches of fresh hand harvested grapes and started pressing, until there was too much color. 30% fermented spontaneously in a used Fresh oak barrel and the rest in stainless steel, where the wine remained for more than a year. Bottled in December 2021, this rosé shows fresh red fruit notes, like cranberry, sided with good acidity and e medium to long finish.
