About Château Guadet

Bordeaux, France

Bought buy my family in 1844, Château Guadet is on a limestone plateau on the north door of the Village of Saint-Emilion. It’s one of the smallest “Grand Cru Classé” of Bordeaux.
I took over the vineyard side in 2010 and went straight to organic and biodynamic on the following year. The further time passes and the more I understand my “terroir”, the less I work on the ground, and this allows me to lower the level of sulphites.
