Age of Vines: 15-35years The wine was aged in older barrels before being bottled off and kept 'sur lattes'. It offers very pretty wild strawberry fruit on the nose, good balance with plenty of energy, zesty red fruits on the palate with a savoury finish
something
Champagne Clandestin is a joint project between Bertrand Gautherot of Vouette & Sorbée and the young talented wine-maker Benoit Doussot. Everything at Clandestin is harvested by hand, fermentation are natural with nothing added or taken away. After fermentation the wines are aged in neutral 300L and 500L French oak barrels before aging sur latte for 15 months. To retain the purity of these Champagnes, they are bottled without dosage.
