Additional Information

Sbaraglio was born on 2017 harvest to join Ciuchionoi in a project to support Fundacion Otonga in Equador, it is a Foundation that works protecting the Rain Forest and the ihabitant population in the forest. Ciuchinoi is a Grignolino wine, while Sbaraglio is a 100% Dolcetto made in 2017 in a fiberglass tank with circa 22 days of maceration. The name "Sbaraglio" means in popular Italian a surprise that could leave you out of sight! It is also a game of words with the word "raglio", that means "bray", the noise the Donkey makes to communicate.
something
Carussin is made by Bruna, Luigi, Matteo and Luca who take care of 15 Ha of vineyards spread on four villages around San Marzano Oliveto where it is located, it is mainly focused on Barbera d’Asti and Moscato d’Asti. The vineyards and cellar are the core of Carussin, moreover, each component of the family follows his of hers side project. Bruna and her ten donkeys are involved in many activities with low-aging children, her husband Luigi is well introduced in all of volunteering associations in San Marzano Oliveto, Luca, their first son, is a brewer with a stable production of one label of craft beer and his brother Matteo started his project based on growing sprouts and hemp. That’s the way, for us, to live our “social terroir”!
