Additional Information

Rosa is a textured rosé blend of Dolcetto from Allegre Vineyard in the middle of the Hood River Valley, Sangiovese, and a hint of Muscato. 2020 proved to be a cooler year and its vineyard told me it was ready to make a beautiful rose. I put all my eggs in one basket and went for it. Some of the grapes were pressed immediately, some were pressed after four days on the skins, and the Sangiovese was sangneé from the Cento Per Cento. I blended them back together to find the balance of acid and structure. Good for a summer lunch al fresco.
something

The Buona Notte wines are low intervention Italian varietals from the Columbia Gorge. We work with 10 or so different organic and naturally sprayed varietals ranging from high alpine whites of Underwood, Washington to the sun-soaked hills of The Dalles, Oregon. All wines are unfinned, unfiltered, and have no more than 20ppm sulfur total at bottling. We strive to produce wines that are a true sense of place and vintage that happen to go well with a delicious meal shared with friends.
