Additional Information
This new skin-contact Chardonnay comes from the same Hillside Vineyard in The Dalles as the Merlot. We had to hand-destem two tones this year to avoid smoke from the stems and leaves. It also gave it the silky texture of my favorite Italian dessert, Panna Cotta. Left on the skins for an average of two weeks the wine is savory and complex, this is an orange wine that everyone can love.
About Buona Notte Wines
The Buona Notte wines are low intervention Italian varietals from the Columbia Gorge. We work with 10 or so different organic and naturally sprayed varietals ranging from high alpine whites of Underwood, Washington to the sun-soaked hills of The Dalles, Oregon. All wines are unfinned, unfiltered, and have no more than 20ppm sulfur total at bottling. We strive to produce wines that are a true sense of place and vintage that happen to go well with a delicious meal shared with friends.
