Additional Information

Alcohol:13.5% Bottle size:75cl Average age of vines: Up to 60 years Grapes spent two weeks as whole bunches in concrete, before being pressed off to a mixture of concrete and cuve for nine months of élevage. With a luminous quality to the cherry-toned fruit and a distinct mineral imprint from the limestone soils, this offers refreshment in spades. Enjoyed chilled with a nice piece of saucisson or a good hunk of cheese, there are few wines better suited to a picnic. If only all Beaujolais was like like this !
something
Benoît farms 4,5 hectares on his own. Three and a half of them are planted with old vines of Gamay and he also grows a little Chardonnay. He works organically and makes small quantities of pure and rare wines.
