Alcohol:13.5% Bottle size: 75cl Average age of vines: Planted in 1930 Fermented on skins for 4 months in concrete and stainless steel, then put to rest in large format oak for a year, followed by another 9 months in concrete to bring it all together. Beautiful expression of the aromatic and mineral content of Nebbiolo in Valtellina. This wine, in particular, is perfect in combination with great meats with strong flavors and aged cheeses.
We are a family of farmers wholly involved in the organic cultivation of our autochtonous grapes, mainly Chiavennasca, also known as Nebbiolo, from 7 hectars on our millenarian terraced slopes. In vineyards all the activities are manual, no tractors or other machines, only the strength of our legs and our arms. Valtellina is one of the very few place left in the World where resists a real heroic viticulture.
