Selve Pantheon Picotendro (riserva), 2009

We are a Family based at the bottom of Aostavalley, on the borderline with Piemonte. My grandfather Rinaldo bought our domain in 1948 and started to produce Natural Wine since the beginning but he was used to sold it on tap to the people of the village… In 2001 my father Rolando, seducted by our Wine and in our Terroir, said goodbye to his majestic career as mountaineer and started to bottle a new wine who called PICOTENDRO. I am Jean Louis Nicco the 3rd generation. I believe we have one of the best terroir for winemaking in the world. Our Terroir is the result of the Last Glaciation happened thousands years ago. Our vineyard are terraced and south facing with pergola system. Our wine is called Picotendro: the native NEBBIOLO of Aostavalley.
