The land on where our vineyards are located in the countryside of the City of Piglio, ciociaro country on the borders with the province of Rome. The vineyard is cultivated on red soil of volcanic origin, at an altitude above sea level of about 380 meters, gently sloping and with maximum sun exposure. The vines per hectare are approximately 4000, some are implanted in 1945, and other new plant grown at guiot and double cordon. At any time of working in the field my first rule is not to destroy the symbiotic balance that regulate plant relationship / ground, which is why I do not use synthetic chemicals, but I prefer the mechanical processing, the natural fertilizer and minimizing the treatments using only copper and sulfur to fight downy mildew and oidium.
