Fragrance that is divided equally between a portion of sharp red fruit, dark red fruit such as black cherry and blackberry, hints of cherry, and a decidedly Mediterranean spicy and balsamic part with black pepper, rosemary, paprika. A metallic, bloody and graphite vein embellishes everything, hints of licorice in the root. Medium intensity with the tannin delicately enveloping the palate, then giving space to dark red fruits, again cherry and morello cherry, black cherry and blackberry, with a nice spicy and savory variation. Dry and slightly tannic finish, of cherry and blackberry, morello cherry and black cherry, a touch of bitter orange and spices to conclude with verve. Wine that allows the grape to express itself, whilst also best demonstrating the pleasantness of which I’ve come to expect from the vineyard, that of wines to keep stored in a cool place for a carefree yet considered moment. Getting to enjoy a product such as this is certainly thanks to the work of those who are in the vineyards and in the winery.
