something
The winey based in Vittoria, in the province of Ragusa was founded in 2004. Arianna started from a rented hectare at the foot of the Iblei Mountains, an area of red sands and limestone. Today the farm has 30 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, orange trees and vegetable garden. We work an historical areas of Cerasuolo di Vittoria with autochthonous grapes as Frappato di Vittoria, Nero d'Avola, Albanello, Moscato and our last project Grillo from Chiaramonte Gulfi. Our idea of production is proudly traditionalist and very respectful of the territory and nature: use of green manure in alternate rows, treatments with only copper and sulfur, fermentations carried out in concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts, none filter- tion and aging in large woods. We consider agriculture one of the most beautiful jobs. We farmers are the guardians of a territory. We have a duty to seek balance, not to specialize too much in monoculture, deepening every day the concept of biodiversity and sustainability. Our goal with every wine we produce is to create a feeling, a connection to the place, terroir, touch and the biological diversity.
