something
From three generations Bionzo, a small village of Costigliole d’Asti, nestled in the hills of Asti, Andrea Scovero produces wine, “paints” the land and welcomes people in his cellar. Andrea is the last of a generation of obstinates who chose the quality, the respect of who drinks and the respect of the nature, in a sea, the sea of wine producers, fascinating, but sometimes very tempting and often astute, not simple to navigate and where the sirens of profit are very strong. Andrea’s story is the story of research, accuracy and a certain obsession of the quality; as he says, the reason is simple, the wine he produces is the wine he is drinking himself. Andrea is in love with their land, their work and with all the other people. Andrea is an artisan of the wine: select vineyards, pick the grapes, bottle and store everything with attention and meticulousness of old times, mostly alone, with great effort but with the satisfaction of having “created” something … the right harmony between the wealth of nature and man’s intelligence. To many people the result looks perfetct. The wines have a farmworker consistency, alive , real , with the colors of the sping, intense, refined , delicate flavors and robust.
