Additional Information
Different Mediterranean grape varieties are fermented together and blended to produce this wine. The grapes are sourced in the older vineyards of the Mediterranean varieties, in Ampeleia di Mezzo, where the Mediterranean scrub dominates the landscape permeating the air with its fragrances: this is Kepos (garden in Greek).
Vines: 50% Alicante Nero (Grenache), 30% Mourvedre, 20% Carignano. Sourced in the vineyards closest to the sea.
Vinification and co-fermentation: sourced from “Sassoforte” and “Pieve” vineyards. Kepos (from the Greek) is the “garden” of Ampeleia.
Harvest period - from the 10th of September until the 5th of October. The wine is aged for 11 months in concrete tank.
Alcohol: 13%
