From the Grower
"The Cabernet Franc is a dark, inky coloured wine with raspberry leaf aromas, brambles and blueberries. The flavours continue through to the medium bodied palate, finishing with satisfying crunchy acid."

Additional Information

In 2020 I approached one of my viticultural mentors to convert 10 rows of Cabernet Franc to organic farming. Having allocated rows allows me to apply Biodynamic preparations to the soil and canopy in the rows during the growing season. Last year we converted the pruning method from cordon to guyot and have seen a major improvement in sap flow and fruitfullness. All pruning is done with the Guyot Poussard method.
something
I work with organic grapes sourced locally in Hawke's Bay because I believe in responsible farming, improving the health of our soils and what we put into our bodies. I have the privilege of working collaboratively with my growers, who care for their vineyards with great attention, heart and detail. I farm all of my allocated parcels biodynamically to improve and understand my connection to the land. This encourages biodiversity, life energy & optimal health in the vineyard.
