Additional Information

The label depicts six lucky donkeys, who live on the hill overlooking the vineyards of Bridge Pa. They have brought me a lot of happiness and good fortune throughout the years and I drive by them most days. 30% whole bunches were kept for structure and aromatics. During fermentation the tank was drained (deléstage) and the juice splashed back over the must to introduce air & wet the cap. After pressing the wine was transferred into my new Tinajas (amphorae) which had just arrived from Spain.
something
I work with organic grapes sourced locally in Hawke's Bay because I believe in responsible farming, improving the health of our soils and what we put into our bodies. I have the privilege of working collaboratively with my growers, who care for their vineyards with great attention, heart and detail. I farm all of my allocated parcels biodynamically to improve and understand my connection to the land. This encourages biodiversity, life energy & optimal health in the vineyard.
