something
Alberto Oggero was born in Canale in 1985 and twenty years later he finished his oenological studies in Alba, but his experience with viticulture dates back to his childhood, when he would follow his grandfather Sandro into the vineyards every time he had the chance. This lifelong love for the land of Roero culminated in 2009, when he accomplished his dream to restore his family's house and cellar, and take the care of his grandfather's vineyards into his own hands: Roero Arneis 2010 and Roero 2011 are the first vintages bottled under the Alberto Oggero label. Alberto currently owns and tends to 3 hectars of vineyard, and produces about 9.000 bottles per year (Roero, Roero Arneis and Sandro ed Pindeta, a wine obtained from nebbiolo grapes and vinified in steel tanks).
