"Cold and rainy January with an average temperature of 10ºC and rainfall of up to 180mm. February warmer than usual with rainfall of 40mm. March, April and May were slightly above average.
June with rainfall of 50mm, which fell on only two days. Summer with slightly above average temperatures. September unusually cooler. Dry October with average temperatures which did not affect ripening.
Conclusion: Atypical summer with rain, slightly warmer which provided wines with more structure and muscle."
Intense cherry colour with a violet rim. Pleasant ripe black fruit on the nose, accompanied by balsamic notes, toast, light floral hints, hints of undergrowth and mineral aromas. It has a long and persistent finish with a fruity and smoky aftertaste.
