Tinto was started by our family & mates with a desire to make exceptional natural wines from California, and to bring transparency, sustainability, and less pretentiousness to the wine industry. Our wines begin with organic grapes, rely on native yeast, and the only addition is minimal sulfur. We love to craft unconventional coferments, experiment with skin contacts, and semi-carbonic macerations inspired by good times shared with our friends.

Our efforts include being transparent, working with vineyards to convert them to organic farming, and we are minority-owned.
