Testalonga was started in 2008 by Craig and Carla Hawkins. We are based in the Swartland region of South Africa. We strive to make wine from grapes and nothing else.
This grower-maker farms some of their grapes themselves and buys-in others.
Size of their farm: 18 (ha)
Size of farm under vine: 4 (ha)
Not all grapes are dry-farmed. Some are irrigated (Young vines receive water as they need it to get them established).
All grapes are harvested manually.
Average production of wine: 70000 (btl)
