Stella Crinita

The Stella Crinita project was born from Ernesto and Joanna’s love for natural wines that speak to the heart and soul. Since 2006, they have been cultivating their estate in Vista Flores, Valle de Uco, Mendoza, according to biodynamic principles.

In 2009, their vineyards were officially certified organic, and in 2012 they received biodynamic certification from Demeter. In 2017, they decided to free their wines from all restrictions and bring them to their fullest expression, making the leap to fully natural winemaking with the Stella Crinita winery — “shooting star” in Latin.

Our wines are rooted in creative vision, teamwork, and a deep love for nature and humanity. Our place in the world is magical. The Andes mountain range shapes our microclimate. Our vineyards are surrounded by trees and exist in symbiosis with fauna, flora, and fungi. Our llamas, sheep, horses, donkeys, cows, chickens, bees, and countless wild visitors work alongside us to maintain balance within our mini ecosystem.
