Sàgona is a small artisanal winery of 4,5 hectars plus several olive trees, nestled at the foot of the Pratomagno mountain, between Firenze and Arezzo, in Tuscany. In 2012 Daniele has rented his first vineyard from a local old farmer, a small plot planted in the early seventies with local varieties: Sangiovese, Malvasia nera, Ciliegiolo, Canaiolo, Trebbiano and Malvasia. In almost ten years we have completely renovated the old farmhouse where we now live and where we make our wines and oil, planted new vineyards and restored more than 800 olive trees which grown on the slope of the mountain. We are strongly committed in making wines which represents our territory and also in preserving the community of people who still live in these hidden corner of Tuscany . We farm organically and are getting closer to biodynamic. On average we produce 25.000 bottles splitted into three different white wines, one rosè and two red wines.
