A biodynamic winery in Montalcino that wants to go back to being a farm. For Francesco Illy this place represented a life's dream, since 1998 when, while looking for a house in Tuscany, he came across this small corner of the world, Castelnuovo dell'Abate, at the time inhabited by a shepherd and his sheep. That dream became the chaotic dream of a group of young people from all over Italy, that found themselves living in Montalcino. First of all the young winemaker Sebastian Nasello who with curiosity and enthusiasm came on board in this crazy project. Today more than 30 people wake up every morning to take care of everything that represents our small ecosystem, where in addition to vines we raise animals and bees, look after vegetable garden, where fruits and olive trees are cultivated, but more than anything we take care of our working culture by trying to respect the ethical and social principles that allowed us to grow so well and inspire others. Our vineyard is the place where we met and where we continue to grow as a community where diversity, curiosity, passion and dynamism are the main values. "Be crazy, my friend"
