Our winery is located in Igé (71960), a charming village in the Mâconnais region of southern Burgundy.
Lionel & Aurélie Margotin, in partnership with Antoine Becker, are committed artisan winegrowers working according to 100% organic farming principles. Across 16 hectares, they cultivate seven different grape varieties, including Burgundy classics such as Chardonnay, Aligoté, Pinot Noir and Gamay.
Driven by a spirit of discovery, originality and innovation, we also grow more unusual grape varieties, such as Syrah, Sauvignac and Verdejo (a Portuguese white grape variety). This makes the Domaine a distinctive presence within the regional wine landscape.
Our wines are authentic and faithfully express their terroir, thanks to gentle, minimalist winemaking with minimal use of oenological inputs.
