Aude-Reine and Régis Anouil, Domaine de La Bénisson-Dieu, in Ambierle (42) One fine day, Aude-Reine and Régis, originally from the Paris region, grew tired of city life and decided they wanted to start a project together that involved working the land. Nothing predestined them for a career as winemakers. So why choose wine? “For us, wine is a bonding agent. Bread nourishes, wine gladdens the heart of man!” After obtaining a vocational diploma in viticulture and winemaking in 2018, they decided to settle in Ambierle (42), in the Monts de La Madeleine, in 2019. To learn the job, they took part in various training courses run by organizations such as Vers de Terre Production and La Belle Vigne. Today, the estate covers 2.6 hectares. The couple works this land using agronomic methods such as no-till farming, agroforestry, and phytotherapy, all with the aim of revitalizing the soil. Their approach continues in the cellar, with wines made without additives and vinification processes lasting an average of twelve months. Régis and Aude-Reine, who are not particularly keen on labels, wanted to go further than organic and biodynamic farming. They ultimately chose the Vin Méthode Nature label for their wines. First and foremost for its clear charter, but especially for the human and environmental commitment that comes with it. Since 2021, all of the estate's vintages have been certified, a choice that reflects the respect that the winemaking couple has for the land and the people who are at the heart of their profession.
