Tiago Teles was co-founder of the wine website "Os5às8", after developing the wine review between 2002 and 2006. As part of this project, he co-wrote four editions of an annual wine guide. He co-founded the website "Nova Crítica-vinho" between 2007 and 2009 and also co-authored the guide "Portal Portugal, Guide to Portuguese and foreign wines 2008 and 2009". In 2009, he finally stepped away from wine criticism, for personal and professional reasons, and in 2012 he embarked, body and soul, alongside his father, on the usual dream: making wine, in close contact with nature, never forgetting the identity of the place. Thus, in Bairrada, Gilda and Maria da Graça wines were born, pure and digested wines that reflect who he is and what he believes in. In 2015, she brings two 'inner' worlds to life: The wines have a strong Atlantic influence, because of the link with the sea that arises, since early and always, when we learned to sail on the "Gilda" by the hands of a grandfather. It is also a project that wants to have an opinion, with a strong aspect of family history: perseverance for the human values of freedom and friendship. In this sense, we are committed to an ethical relationship with wine, with those who make it, with its history, with its values. Basically, with the roots of a place and its people. The wines we produce are direct and true, pure, without filters or adjustments.
