1. Grown, vinified, and bottled at Château Picoron Our wines are a transparent and honest expression of a spe- cific terroir : the famous St Emilion clay limestone ridge. Located in the rolling hills of Sainte-Colombe, in the heart of Cas- tillon AOP area. We vinify our wines plot by plot without blending. The result is a production of only a few hundred of cases of 5 different wines. 2. Less is more We believe nature is our greatest collaborator. We use less additives, interventions, and attempts to change what nature is. Our wine is produced sustainably using organic practices, without animal products and with minimal interven- tion. Since 2020, we initiated a conversion towards organic far- ming. 3. Constraints are the catalyst for creation We celebrate the past & the future of Merlot. However, as the climate changes our environnement, we must adapt. We do not seek to control our ecosystem but learn to coexist with it, through creativity and self expression. By challenging traditio- nal winemaking methods, we released the first ever White Merlot wine in Bordeaux. 4. Expression of the past and future of Bordeaux Winemaking at our estate began over 2,000 years ago. Since 2015, Glenda & Frank Kalyk and our Australian family are pursing this legacy. Here, we produce hand made wines which celebrate the past while also inspiring the future of the Bordeaux region. Today, we are proud to collaborate with a 100% female team. 5. The rules that constrict us, set us free At Château Picoron we innovate. We experiment, pioneer and create. Harnessing the constraints upon us, we found freedom to invent. With only 4.5 ha of vines, we produce 5 different wines. From a White Merlot, to a carbonic mace- ration and a modern Castillon wine, they are all a unique expression of Merlot.
