The Chan Chan project was born in 2022, out of a deep conviction that the terroirs of the Bas Conflent, though little-known, are among the highest quality in the region. The altitude and the acidic granite soils give the wines great freshness and allow harvesting to extend until the end of September. We currently cultivate 5 hectares of vines. All of them are located on the plateau between Montalba and Tarerach at over 500 meters above sea level, and are between 30 and 45 years old. All our juices are fermented with indigenous yeasts. They are unfiltered, unfined, and hand-harvested, with a strict sorting process done both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Our goal is to produce precise and elegant wines, using no additives except for a minimal dose of sulfites.
