About
I was born in 1988 and grew up in a farming family near Valence d'Agen (82). Already, I enjoyed giving my time in the context of agricultural and viticultural work.
My attraction for the food trade and my taste for good products naturally led me to enrol in a hotel and catering school at the Lycée Hôtelier de Toulouse where I obtained my BAC and my BTS in hotel and catering.
My growing curiosity for the mysterious beverage that is wine led me to extend my studies, still in Toulouse, with a Mention Complémentaire en Sommellerie and a Brevet Professionnel Sommellerie.
This complete course enabled me to work as a sommelier at the Hôtel du Palais* in Biarritz (3 years), then at the gastronomic restaurant of the Mandarin Oriental Paris** (1 year). This gave me daily access to the world's greatest wines.
Having always dreamed of harvesting in Tuscany, I went to the La Massa estate in the heart of Chianti.
It was there that I was able to discover and fully immerse myself in the diversity and complexity of Italian wines, their culture and their immense passion for wine.
Back in France, and in order to learn about the wine trade, I chose to work at "Les Vins de Vincent" (elected best wine merchant in France) for 4 years, where the emphasis is on "small producers" and their quality/price ratio.
And it is today, after many trips and tastings in Italy, that I am able to present you my selection, the fruit of passionate winemakers, in love with their terroirs and their grape varieties.
I wanted this selection to be particularly rigorous, as I wanted to convey the image of quality Italian wines: made with respect for nature (Organic, Bio-Dynamic or Sustainable Agriculture), their tradition, their terroir and the people who make them.
Always keeping in mind the most important notion: pleasure.
That's why I do this job: the pleasure of drinking and sharing a good wine, the pleasure of discovering a wine and a winemaker that I love!
