Archibald

Archibald is a French artisanal distillery exploring non-alcoholic drinks crafted with the same precision, structure and aromatic complexity as wine and spirits.

Founded in 1830, our family distillery carries a long-standing French savoir-faire rooted in spirits: the art of distilling botanicals, building complexity, and achieving balance through precise blending. Our work is based on slow extractions, separate macerations and a deep mastery of bitterness — especially gentian — which sits at the heart of our identity.

We constantly explore and experiment with a wide range of organic and wild botanicals, working closely with growers and foragers, particularly in the highlands of Auvergne. Each cuvée is conceived as a sipping drink, with texture, length and aromatic persistence, designed either to elegantly extend a spirit or to offer a refined non-alcoholic experience — at the aperitif, at the table, or beyond.

Developed hand in hand with chefs and sommeliers, Archibald’s Sipping Tonic has become a reference in France, and is today served on more than 150 Michelin-starred tables in France and Japan, as well as in selective wine shops and premium on-trade circuits.

Certified organic and B Corp since 2019, we produce in small batches and distribute internationally through a network of specialist importers, positioning non-alcoholic drinks within the same cultural and gastronomic space as wine and spirits.
