For those of you travelling from outside NYC, here are a few pointers that might prove helpful:
- If hailing a cab, Green (Brooklyn) cabs are advised, yellow cabs may also pick you up but can occasionally be grumpy about driving in Brooklyn (yellow cabs are designated to Manhattan).
- Download the “Uber” or “Lyft” apps to hail a minicab anywhere in the city.
- For a local car company, try the Bushwick Car Service (+1 (718) 386.5002) or the Northside Car Service (+1 (718) 3872222), but be sure to confirm price in advance.
