"Clear, firm and yet polished, rather cool fragrance of dark berries and a little cherry with a very moderate, slightly roasted wood spice, nutty and mushroom aromas and earthy minerality. Herb-juicy, quite fresh, again rather cool fruit, some acid bite and fine sandy tannin, dried vegetable and peppery nuances, chalky-salty minerality, good substance and certain depth, very good, tight, tangy-juicy finish with notes of dried herbs as well as nutty and spicy wood notes."
Vinification:
100% Kékfrankos, hand picked on october 25th with 90°Öchsle. Destemmed. Spontaneous fermentation in open tank for 4 weeks. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Ripened in used barrique barrels for 21 months, then bottled without filtration or fining.
