  • Other Information:While the J. Brix wines all focus on single vineyards and single varieties, The Hornswoggle is where we have our fun with blending. The varietal components of the blend are different each year; 2016's is a juicy mix of 62% Cinsault (San Diego County); 28% Carignan (San Diego County); and 10% whole-cluster Syrah (San Luis Obispo County). Each component wine is vinified separately, and then blended after malolactic fermentation to create The Hornswoggle.
