Negotinska Kraina, Serbia In the heart of Europe sit 3 Serbian villages - Rogljevo, Smedovac, Rajac - that have produced wines of character for over 2000 years. Fruit here ripens beautifully but is underpinned by salinity and freshness, which caught the eye of Estelle and Cyrille Bongiraud - wine-producing Burgundians - who, in 2008, moved in and set to reviving this ancient terroir.
