About Bodega Schatz

Andalusia, Spain

At 18 there were two things that Friedrich Schatz had clear: he wanted to be winegrower (the family business since 1641) and he wanted to do it in a climate other than Germany.
The year was 1982 and so began the journey to find the right place. He finally chose Ronda (Andalusia, Spain) – located in the Mediterranean, it also has strong Atlantic influences.
