Noita Winery is an urban winery based in Fiskars Village in south-west Finland. We use hand-harvested, organic certified grapes from a single grower in Burgenland, Austria. Grapes are transported immediately to Fiskars in a temperature controlled truck. At the winery we add nothing but a little co2 for our carbonic wine.
No sulphites were added to any of our wines during our first vintage (2018).
Native yeast. No filtration or fining, in fact, nothing at all added or taken away 🙂
When grapes arrive in Finland we make sure we use every grape at least three times! First the wines, then to flavour beers and ciders, then a piquette which is used to make our ‘Grape pomace moonshine’. Absolutely zero waste and a whole bunch of unique products from Finland
