- Other Information:Reìs is a white wine voluntarily declassified, exclusively obtained from cortese grapes hand-picked in Bastian vineyard — plantation year 1985. Spontaneous fermentation — wild yeasts only — is done in stainless steel tanks after 3 days of pre-fermentative maceration at room temperature. Aging is done — for some months — in acacia wood. In the local dialect of 19th century, Reìs means “roots”.
We are a boutique, strictly natural winery located in Carpeneto (Al), amidst the Alto Monferrato hills. Wine production is focused on Piedmont-native grapes (dolcetto, barbera, cortese, nebbiolo, albarossa, freisa). We are member of VinNatur and FIVI.
