The grapes are sourced in the vineyards closest to the sea, in Ampeleia di Sotto, where the Mediterranean scrub dominates the landscape permeating the air with its fragrances: this is Kepos., Grape Varieties: Varieties originating from the Mediterranean Basin – mainly Alicante (also known as Grenache, Cannonau or Garnacha) but also Carignan and Alicante Bouschet, Altitude: from 200 to 350 m above sea level, Harvest period: from the 10th to the 5th of October, Yield/ha: 50 hl/ha, Ageing: 11 months in cement tanks followed by 5 months of bottle-ageing

      Ampeleia is located in Maremma (Tuscany) on the Colline Metallifere (Metal hills) and is characterized by its high-rise from 200 to 600m above sea level that conveys biodiversity.

      It is a biodynamic farm managed by a group of young people in which Marco Tait expresses the vision of Elisabetta Foradori and Giovanni Podini and the terroir through the wines (Cabernet Franc and Mediterranean varieties).

      Today Ampeleia is: 35ha vineyards, 54ha wood, 32ha arable and grazing land, 1.5ha olive grove, vegetable garden, orchard, 6 cows, chicken.
