Gen del Alma Ji Ji Ji Chenin Blanc, NV

Gen del Alma was founded in 2012 by winemaker Andrea Mufatto and her husband Gerardo Michelini, of Zorzal. Gerardo and Andrea farm vines on their property in Gualtallary and in Villa Seca Tunuyan. Their focal concept is to showcase the purity, minerality, and freshness of the Uco Valley though a minimal vinification process. They use concrete eggs, clay amphora, various sizes of oak foudre and cement tanks. Gen del Alma is an example of the new wave of Argentine wine that harkens back to the old world style of balance and freshness.
