  • Other Information:The last one of its race, sure to leave a mark. The old vineyard that grew this wine was unfortunately destroyed by the owners; that’s where its name comes from (Extinct). This wine is unique for its features, it is destined to nish, leaving a clear and pleasant memory of its taste to the latest lucky tasters. It has been obtained from the single-variety vinification of a native Piedmontese grape called Freisa. Vinified in wood and steel barrels and aged in small regenerated wooden barrels for between 36 and 60 months, it is then bottled for the final maturation before being enjoyed by our loyal customers. NOTE: There are only a few bottles left.

About Asotom

Piedmont, Italy

For the first time at the Raw Wine’ fairs, Tommaso, eccentric winemaker, produces personal wines since 2004, as a self-taught wine artesan. He has consciously chosen to enhance the history of his vineyards, restoring vineyards that had long since been forgotten by time. He uses the most ecological and natural methods to grow vineyards and to produce wine in the cellar. His wines are alive and they change every year.. vini vivi e dimenticati (alive and forgotten wines) is his slogan, indeed.
Every bottle contains the essence of that year, the vineyard’s expressivity, and his signature—the personal idea of the winemaker. These are wines with a story to tell and emotions to make you feel.
