- Other Information:Aur-oura is a Monferrato Dolcetto doc exclusively obtained from dolcetto grapes hand-picked in Gaggero and Vicario vineyards (between 12 and 42 years old, 60 q. per ha yeld). It is vinified in stainless steel tanks, using native yeasts only and extended (2-3 weeks) maceration. Aging is done -for 6 months at least- in a mix of French oak casks, tonneaux and barriques, mainly not new. In the local dialect of 19th century, Aur-oura means "just now".
We are a boutique, strictly natural winery located in Carpeneto (Al), amidst the Alto Monferrato hills. Wine production is focused on Piedmont-native grapes (dolcetto, barbera, cortese, nebbiolo, albarossa, freisa). We are member of VinNatur and FIVI.
