  • Other Information:This is our dry red natural wine made from Tavkveri grapes. Tavkveri is unusual in that it is a female vine and therefore must be interplanted with hermaphroditic or male vines to pollinate. This old Georgian verity is from the wine region Kartli, most commonly used in red and rosé blends. Using old traditional method, we did an experiment and fermented this wine in Qvevri. Tavkveri wine is light and easy going, with floral, hibiscus notes and bright red berry flavors like cranberry, cherry, and redcurrant on the palate.
